Fiery Apple Chutney

This chutney began with a generous gift from a gardener friend who had more apples than she knew what to do with. Rather than let that abundance go to waste, I turned them into a rich, warming chutney with ginger, garlic, raisins, brown sugar, vinegar, and plenty of chilli.

Fiery Apple Chutney

A beautifully layered balance of flavours: sweet apples and raisins meet warming ginger and turmeric, savoury onion and garlic, and a lively chilli heat, all brought together with the tang of malt vinegar. Rich, spicy, and wonderfully versatile, it’s the perfect companion for anything that loves a little sweet heat.

Perfect Pairings;

• Serve with aged cheddar, brie, or a cheese board
• Pair with roast pork, chicken, or grilled meats
• Spoon into sandwiches or wraps
• Serve alongside curries, rice, or roasted vegetables
• Add to burgers or grilled cheese sandwiches
