A new beginning

It’s time for a new beginning.

There are fresh starts all around us; new buds and blooms, new critters and little bugs, hopeful attitudes and bigger (masked) smiles.  There is also fresh news to make you glad – we will slowly be emerging from our self-contained cocoons, getting ready to spread our wings wide as we venture out this summer. It’s thrilling, at long last, to have the green light to (cautiously) do so.

The air is redolent with the smells of spring. Lilacs are in full bloom this week and I picked a bunch to bring home in celebration. Such a sweet scent. I put a few bouquets around the house and plucked some to make jelly with.
Heavenly. I hope you get a chance to order a jar.

Speaking of new beginnings, Michael and I are looking forward to be participating in the BEAU Market in Beaconsfield throughout the next few months. We will be there on June 18th, July 23rd and September 3rd, 2021, from 3 to 6 pm. Save the dates! I’ve been getting ready by making some seasonal and favorite preserves and Michael’s got the wood chips flying as he crafts his woodworker’s magic! Stay informed on the Market through my posts or by following Les Amis du Village Beaurepaire .

I hope you are looking forward to the new beginnings this season has to offer, Friend. Let me know what you are most excited for in the comment section below. I send you wishes for many beautiful days ahead.
